Parshat Mishpatim coloring page: a donkey carrying a load

Print opens the sheet with its options: Letter or A4, outline or colored in, English or Hebrew text, and one, two or four to a page.

About this parasha

God gives laws for living together fairly, such as caring for the stranger, the widow and the orphan and returning a lost animal, and the people promise, “We will do and we will listen.”

The picture: Help with the load

A donkey with a heavy load: the Torah says to help even someone you dislike when their donkey falls under its load (Exodus 23:4–5).

Why this picture?

Mishpatim is a parasha of everyday laws, and helping with a fallen donkey’s load, even the donkey of someone you dislike, shows its idea of fairness and kindness in a picture children understand.
