Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 4, 2026

1. Introduction

IvritSuite (the "site") is a free collection of Hebrew literacy tools for teachers and students, operated by Harrison Bleiberg. This Privacy Policy explains what information the site collects (and, more importantly, what it does not), how that information is used, and the choices you have. By using the site you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

IvritSuite is almost entirely client-side. There are no accounts, no logins, and no submissions, and the site stores no personal data on a server. Specifically:

3. Cookies & Analytics

The site uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-CMLC81Z0HC) to understand which tools are used and how visitors arrive at the site. GA4 collects aggregated, anonymized data such as page views, approximate geographic region, device class, and referral source. IP addresses are anonymized by GA4 by default and are not stored by the site operator.

You can control or block analytics in several ways:

For details on Google's data handling, see Google's Privacy Policy.

4. Third-Party Resources

Some tools fetch or link to third-party content. Visiting or interacting with these resources is governed by their own privacy policies, not by IvritSuite:

5. Local Storage & Your Control Over Data

Because all of your settings live only in your browser, you have full control:

6. Children's Privacy

IvritSuite is designed to be safely usable by students of all ages, including children under 13. The site does not knowingly collect personal information from any user, regardless of age. There is no account creation, no submission form, no chat, and no upload feature. If you believe any personal information has somehow been collected in violation of this policy, please contact us through the contact page and we will remove it.

7. FERPA Compliance For Schools

This section is provided for school administrators, IT departments, and educators evaluating IvritSuite for classroom use under the U.S. Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA, 20 U.S.C. § 1232g; 34 CFR Part 99).

No collection of education records or student PII

IvritSuite does not collect, receive, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII) from student education records as defined by FERPA. The site has no user accounts, no class rosters, no grade books, no submission of student work, and no server-side storage of teacher- or student-generated content. Worksheets, presets, schedules, and tool preferences are stored exclusively in the local browser using localStorage and remain on the user's own device.

Analytics do not constitute education records

The site's only data collection is anonymized, aggregated Google Analytics 4 usage data (page views, device class, region). GA4 anonymizes IP addresses and is not associated with any student identifier; this data is not directly or indirectly linkable to individual students and therefore does not constitute "education records" or "personally identifiable information" under 34 CFR § 99.3.

School-official designation is not required

Because no PII or education records are disclosed to the site, schools and districts may permit teachers and students to use IvritSuite without entering into a separate data-sharing or "school official" agreement under the FERPA exception at 34 CFR § 99.31(a)(1). If your district nevertheless requires a written acknowledgment of these practices, you may rely on this policy as a public statement of them.

No advertising or sale of data

IvritSuite does not sell, rent, license, or otherwise share any user information with advertisers or data brokers. The site displays no advertising.

Parental review and access

Because no student records are stored by the site, there is nothing for parents to inspect, amend, or have removed under FERPA's parental-rights provisions on the site's side. Parents wishing to review locally stored tool settings can do so directly in the browser used by the student via the home-page Import / Export All Settings control.

FERPA-related questions

For FERPA-specific inquiries, please contact Harrison Bleiberg through the contact page.

8. Security

The site is delivered over HTTPS. Because no user data is transmitted to a server operated by the site, the primary security boundary is the user's own browser and device. We recommend keeping your browser up to date and using device-level protections appropriate to your setting.

9. Changes to This Policy

If this policy is updated, the "Effective date" at the top of the page will change. Material changes will be reflected on this page; there is no mailing list or account to notify because the site does not collect contact information.

10. Contact

Questions or concerns about this policy can be directed to Harrison Bleiberg via the contact page, or by email at Harrison@IvritSuite.com.
