About this parasha

The picture: Crossed hands of blessing
Jacob crosses his hands to bless Ephraim and Manasseh, the blessing parents still give their children on Friday night (Genesis 48:13–20).
Why this picture?
Vayechi is a parasha of blessings, and Jacob crossing his hands to bless Ephraim and Manasseh is the blessing parents still give their children every Friday night, a link children know from home.
