About this parasha
Ki Teitzei holds more mitzvot than any other parasha, from returning lost things and sending away the mother bird to building a railing on your roof and paying workers on time.
The picture: A railing for your roof
Build a railing around your roof so that no one falls (Deuteronomy 22:8).
Why this picture?
Ki Teitzei holds more mitzvot than any other parasha, and the railing around the roof shows one that children can picture right away: taking care of other people’s safety before anything happens.
